The Flown Away Episode with Bonj
Another messi week has gone by and the 2 Broke Twimbos are here with a brand new episode of your favourite podcast to play in the car on your way to anywhere but Jam Tree! Dan & Phil first had to find out what was going on with the production of new COVID variants at Zimfest, so they called King Kandoro for an update, before getting into a Mental Health Segment with psychiatrist Dr Fungi Muzhandu and Wired 2 Love & Thrive’s Dr Nyarai, to discuss general trends in mental health in Zimbabwe, and to destigmatize the idea of “Annexe” and psychiatric wards. There’s a lot more to talk about, including a review of the SAMA Awards, racist restaurants in Zimbabwe, and an answer to the question: “How many sports should be played at the Olympics, really though?” And a treat too, because the team get to chat with dope artist Bonj from South Africa. Enjoy!
Remember you can find mental health resources as well as a submission form (if you would like to send in a question) on our website’s Help page here.
