The 2BT Newsletter: Delayed but not deterred
2020 has been the longest decade ever and we are not immune to its effects. This week was an incredibly busy week for both of us and left us both physically emotionally drained. We also are not in the same city at the moment… As a result, we were not able to record this week’s episode. We are truly sorry about that and we will make it up to you, WE PROMISE!
In the past 2 weeks, we have had to mourn the deaths of Zimbabwean comedy legend Lazarus Boora aka Gringo, Moana and Ginimbi. Not to mention Alex Trebek (whose legendary Jeopardy song used to be part of our Ga Ga Ga segment before the show’s lawyers got in touch)
Already this month, our music mogul in the making Dan managed to take a trip down to Cape Town to promote a series of failed shows with a group of Zimbabwe’s finest acts such Soul Jah Luv, Guspy Warrior and “many more”. We discussed the show, the trip, Hopewell and Jah being messy pon de timeline on The Caping from Cape Town Episode here
Amongst all the discussion of death and pain we also managed to find time to speak to Ghanian superstar rapper Kwesi Arthur to discuss his music career, new EP and why he is so vocal about #ENDSARS
While you wait for the next episode you can play all the best music from the Podcast to bide the time
Let’s Get Social With Amongst Us
In these socially distanced times, we thought it would be fun to have a running series of games where we play Amongst Us with podcast listeners. If you would like to play please join our WhatsApp group here.
