Here Is The Full List of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards Nominees
Nominees for the 4th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCAs) have just been announced by Kenyan broadcaster Larry Madowoand and Nigerian comedienne Chigurl Public. Voting is now open on the AMVCA website and closes on the 26th of February, 2016.
According to the Director of M-Net (West Africa) Wangi Mba-Uzoukwu, this edition of the awards received over 2,500 entries and are a testament the continuous growth of the ceremony in celebrating Africa’s finest filmmakers and actors.
In a statement AMVCA organisers said the following;
“Since the maiden edition in 2013, the AMVCAs have celebrated the contributions of African filmmakers, actors and technicians to the success of the continent’s film and television industry. With the fourth edition, which is scheduled for March 2016, viewers can expect to see awards in categories ranging from acting, directing to scriptwriting and cinematography, to newly announced categories like the Best Movie for West Africa, Best Movie for East Africa and Best Movie for Southern Africa.”
