Comrades, in what is becoming a tradition that is becoming uncomfortably too common, we are mourning the loss of another artist. On Friday, February 10, 2023, Kiernan Jarryd Forbes (AKA) was shot and killed in Durban in what appears to be a targeted assassination.
Ladies and Gentlegerms after a gruelling 78 months, the of 2021 is finally coming to a close.
To help wrap up the year we invited some of our patrons onto the show to share their favourite moments from the podcast, their favourite songs and who their favourite Twimbo is. THEIR ANSWERS MAY SURPRISE YOU!
Phew this is a long one, welcome comrades! The 2 Broke Twimbos are sad to see a podcast leave, and have invited King Kandoro and Nick Titan of Sadza in The Morning to the show to point in their faces and laugh, unfortunately, only half the team shows up. But first, a treat! We have Dr Nyarai Pamweni and Dr Olga Nel on the show to directly answer some of your therapy questions in our new mental health segment. The show then features in depth discussions about the music business, Nash TV and contracts, Winky D and lawsuits, as well as Levels and toys being thrown out of prams.
Some of our patrons also join us to review new music, before a candid chat about podcasting, creating and money. Enjoy!
Happy Festivus for the rest of us!! We are still on break, but we know you guys need a reprieve from the constant barrage of family squabbles and requests to cook something for your uncle that you only see once a year so we have delivered another episode for you.
Early drop to make up for the missed week! The Twimbos are back with a fresh new episode, featuring frontline accounts from Nitefreak at Hinde, in-depth reports from Kigali, expert analysis of Sakhile Dube and Chidimma Adetshina's performances at Miss Universe, and shrewd diplomacy in their takes on the South African Mining standoff and El Salvador's gang prison. Enjoy!
