The Gemma Griffiths Episode
It’s a brand new episode of the Met Gala of podcasts, in that no one really understands what its about but you just can’t look away. This time, the queen of Urban Grooves Gemma Griffiths herself sits with the financially challenged fellas in an interview conducted at the crack of dawn. Dan & Phil examine her recent success especially with the Winky D assist on Mugarden as well as her current and upcoming projects including Driving Pamwe, an initiative that sees Gemma trekking across Africa on a journey of musical discovery. This interview was not all rainbows and unicorns however, and Gemma had to answer some tough questions on race and cultural appropriation. A great episode with a great person, check it out.

Trying times, but new episode for the pain. Dan & Phil return with that new new 2BT, this week they (unfortunately) have updates on the biggest criminal case of the decade, Lebo M vs Learnmore Jonasi. Then, a textbook case of how not to handle a PR crisis from Chappell Roan vs Jorginho, the tragic ballad of Doja Cat’s father during her debut South African performance, and the hip-hop heads talk about Jay-Z’s GQ interview, and J. Cole’s recent Apple and Talk with Flee interviews. Oh, and stuff about coffee for some reason? Enjoy!
