The Pee-Kay Episode
We get larged by bouncers. That is to say, 2 Broke Twimbos tobhigwa nemamonya. Of which this happens to be the case because we know all the bouncers in Harare from all the times we have been thrown out of establishments for sneaking in. Notwithstanding, this episode features 3 time Hip-Hop Award winner, Ma1 & Show Me Love hit singer, the original monya himself Pee-Kay.
Within 2 minutes of the interview, Dan & Phil had secured a promise of their first meal in days, so they were able to sit back and in relative comfort discuss in depth the rise of the enigma that is Pee-Kay. Listen in as stomach rumblings occasionally interrupt an analysis of coming up in the Zimbabwean music industry, the creation of Ma1, working with Zimbabwean and international artists including Busy Signal and Speedy and of course the plan for infiltrating the African market.

Aaaaaaaand enjoy the podcast which we consider to be one of our better episodes.
The end of another week means the end of all your problems! For now, at least, so we celebrate with a brand new episode of the only podcast to be 100% tariff-free in all countries! Dan & Phil talk YN’s, Zim Hip-Hop and Zimdancehall in the context of international exposure and collaborations, conspiracy theories about tariffs and all-female space crews, and even get some time in for full-on nerdy chats about Direwolves and Marvel. Enjoy!
